What is Jing Jin Therapy?

Jing Jin Therapy (经筋疗法) is an ancient Chinese therapeutic approach that focuses on the Jingjin system — the fascial tissues associated with the twelve meridians, including muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia that provide structural support and facilitate movement.

The human body possesses remarkable self-healing capabilities. However, prolonged injuries, repetitive strain, or exposure to external factors like wind, cold, or dampness can compromise Jingjin tissues, leading to stiffness, tension, spasms, and adhesions known as "jingjie" (筋结) or pathological lesions.

By identifying specific acupuncture points related to these pathological lesions, Jing Jin therapy addresses imbalances at both cellular and systemic levels — targeting individual cells as well as tissues, organs, and entire body systems.

How Jing Jin Therapy Works

Hand techniques are applied to specific points along the meridians and sinews, promoting smooth Qi flow and blood circulation while releasing blockages and tension.

Targeting Meridians & Sinews

Jing Jin therapy addresses both the meridians (energy channels) and the sinews (tendons, ligaments, and fascia). When these pathways are unblocked and functioning properly, the body's natural healing abilities are enhanced, and pain and discomfort can be alleviated.

Promotes smooth flow of Qi (vital energy) through blocked channels
Enhances blood circulation and lymphatic drainage
Releases tension, adhesions, and pathological lesions
Restores balance to the body's energetic systems
